Kussiya — Curry Planner (“we”, “our”, or “the Service”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the Service:

  • Account information: your email address and, if you use Google Sign-In, your Google profile name and profile photo.
  • Meal plan data: meals you add to your planner, saved recipes, and your schedule preferences.
  • Group data: groups you create or join, and the meal plans shared within those groups.
  • Device data: push notification tokens if you enable notifications, and basic browser/device information for PWA functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To provide meal planning features and sync your data across devices.
  • To enable group collaboration features.
  • To send push notifications you have opted into.
  • To improve and maintain the Service.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising purposes.

4. Authentication

Authentication is handled by Supabase (email magic links) and Google OAuth. When you sign in with Google, we receive only your email address and public profile information as permitted by Google's OAuth scopes. We do not receive your Google password.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Supabase-managed databases. We use row-level security policies to ensure that you can only access data you own or have been granted access to. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except:

  • Service providers: Supabase (database and auth), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery). These providers process data only as necessary to operate the Service.
  • Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
  • Group members: meal plan data you share within a group is visible to other members of that group.

7. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we store a device push token to deliver notifications to you. You can disable notifications at any time through your device or browser settings, or within the app.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Withdraw consent for notifications at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete the data promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
